Mahara Trust Centre

Clear signals. Careful boundaries.

Mahara is built to make local services feel more transparent without overstating what a marketplace can guarantee.

01

Verification is specific

A verification label tells you that a stated Mahara check was completed. It does not by itself confirm professional licensing, insurance, legal eligibility, or the quality of a future service.

02

Private details stay private

Public profiles show service areas rather than private addresses. Exact location and sensitive details are intentionally kept out of the public marketplace.

03

Reviews come from real bookings

A customer can review only after a completed booking. Reports and moderation are part of the review process, not an afterthought.

04

Categories are reviewed

A category can be enabled, paused, or require further information as Mahara’s compliance process evolves. Being listed never replaces a provider’s own legal obligations.
